Race Day: Sunday, October 14th, 2018

RACE START TIME IS 7 A.M.

  • CHARTERED BUSES WILL MEET RUNNERS AT THE COCOA BEACH HILTON BEGINNING AT 5:00 A.M., TO TAKE THEM SOUTH TO THE EVENT STARTING LINE.
  • THE LAST BUS WILL LEAVE THE HILTON AT 6:30 A.M.
  • THERE WILL BE NO TRANSPORTATION TAKING RUNNERS BACK TO THE STARTING LINE AREA AFTER THE FINISH.
  • THERE WILL BE A BAG CHECK AREA AT THE STARTING AREA, AND ATHLETE GEAR WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO THE FINISH LINE VIA TRUCKS.
  • RUNNERS MAY BE DROPPED OFF AT THE STARTING POINT. THE WILL BE NO PARKING AT THE STARTING POINT.
  • AID STATION AND PORTALET LOCATIONS WILL BE APPROXIMATELY EVERY 1.5 MILES.  THERE WILL BE NO PORTALET STATIONS ON THE BEACH PORTION OF THE RUN.
  • CLIF SHOTS, BANANAS, GATORADE AND WATER WILL BE AVAILABLE AT AID STATIONS
  • THIS INFORMATION IS SUBJECT TO MINOR CHANGES AND WILL BE CONFIRMED IN PRE-RACE EMAIL SENT TO ALL ENTRANTS APPROXIMATELY 5 DAYS PRIOR TO THE RACE.

Other than this 2.9 mile stretch of hard-packed beach, the remainder of the course is on State Road A1A or Cocoa Beach side streets.
